About

Hey, my name is Alyssa and I'm an aspiring musician, writer and enthusiast of all the little things in life. Thus, the content of my blog posts will range from fashion & beauty, food, music and literature to thoughts and perhaps advice based on my personal experiences. I started this blog back in '012 during my last year of high school as a way to share things on a whim and well, to procrastinate (because who doesn't during their HSC). Also, here is a little quote of mine that hopefully will inspire some of you (should you happen to stumble upon this page). It may also give you some insight on the kind of person I strive to be.

“Remember it's the little things that count. Be thankful you're breathing. Living another day and learning something new. Be grateful for the smile of a kind stranger or a compliment from a friend. Enjoy the warmth of the sun on your back and bask in the crisp autumn air. Be thankful even on those rainy days when all you'd rather do is sleep. But most of all remember that you are stronger than you realise and you can handle life as it is: the pain, the love, the anger, excitement, loneliness and pure joy of being human. Feel the thrill of simply being alive. You are a mortal; live each moment as if it might be your last. Make it count. You can take it all, embrace the pain and relish in the happy moments that life will throw at you. Why? Because you're a survivor... and survivors don't give up.”

Currently I am revamping my blog and therefore looking forward to the many new things I can share with you. I am also open to suggestions on topics you'd like me to talk about on occasion. Also, recently I became a student ambassador for "Mad Paws" which is a website designed to help people find sitters for their pet/s whenever they go traveling or if they are sparsely at home. So go check out the website and you can register for free (even if you don't need a sitter yet) as that would be of great help to me too! The link can be found on the home page of my blog under "Links". Thanks to those in advance, I really appreciate it.
