Why do bad things happen to good people?
Ok, so I know that at some point in our lives this question has lingered on our tongues. We've thought about it, twisted it around and turned it over in our minds. We've pondered what the answer is supposed to be during the difficult times. I'll even admit that I don't... really know the answer yet.
On that note, I'm not sure if looking for an answer will bring comfort or relief to an individual.
Some people believe that "bad things" test us. We're supposed to grow and learn from the experience... become strong. Others believe things are just meant to happen that way. That it's inexplicable and we should accept it. Some people believe in changing fate or"running away from their problems -metaphorically speaking.
Personally, I believe that it's better not to ask this question at all.
And this is where my title comes in. Yes, it's a quote from somewhere. I can't remember where... and it didn't really make sense to me. Not until someone posed the question "Why do bad things happen to good people?"
So... that is my answer.
So... that is my answer.
Don't focus on the bad things. Don't let it consume you or you'll never have direction in your life. Focus on the good memories and the connections you have that bring happiness. Then you'll find that you're a stronger person than you originally believed.
