Ed Sheeran- The A team.

Hello to all,

Just a quick post guys. I couldn't pass this opportunity up :)

Watch this performance of Ed Sheeran on x-factor last year with his song "The A team". Soooo cute! It's simply amazing, I love his voice. Here's the video:

Hope you enjoyed it. And, like I said...bonus posts because it's the last day of January ;)

Paraprosdokians & My list of Korean dramas to watch.

{안녕하세요!} An-yŏng-ha-se-yo!

It's me again. xD

Since it's the last day of Janurary 2012, I've decided to do a bonus-post of sorts. Cos, I seriously don't post more than 1-2 times a month -and even less than that. I'm just being generous today :D
So, first I'm sure you want to know what the hell I'm talking about in my title. Yeah? Thought so. Basically, today I got an email and wanted to share my new found knowledge with you. Anddd, then, I'll show you my list of Korean dramas that I intend to watch after the HSC. Totally random , I know -but surely the strangeness of my posts will pique your interest. I hope.

Paraprosdokians:  A Figure of speech in which the latter part of a sentence or phrase is surprising or unexpected; frequently used in a humorous situation.

Examples:
 1. Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

2. The last thing I want to do is hurt you. But it's still on my list.

3. Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.

4. If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

5. We never really grow up, we only learn how to act in public.

6. War does not determine who is right - only who is left..

7. Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.

8. Evening news is where they begin with 'Good Evening,' and then proceed to tell you why it isn't.

9. To steal ideas from one person is plagiarism. To steal from many is research.

10. A bus station is where a bus stops. A train station is where a train stops. On my desk, I have a work station.

11. I thought I wanted a career. Turns out I just wanted paychecks.

12. Whenever I fill out an application, in the part that says, 'In case of emergency, notify:' I put 'DOCTOR.'

13. I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.

14. Women will never be equal to men until they can walk down the street with a bald head and a beer gut, and still think they are sexy.

15. Behind every successful man is his woman. Behind the fall of a successful man is usually another woman.

16. A clear conscience is the sign of a fuzzy memory.

17. You do not need a parachute to skydive. You only need a parachute to skydive twice.

18. Money can't buy happiness, but it sure makes misery easier to live with.

19. There's a fine line between cuddling and holding someone down so they can't get away.

20. I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not so sure.

21. You're never too old to learn something stupid.

22. To be sure of hitting the target, shoot first and call whatever you hit the target.

23. Nostalgia isn't what it used to be.

24. Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.

25. Going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more than standing in a garage makes you a car.

So, how did you like that? Post the one that you like the best in the comment section of this post and see if you can come up with a few of your own. Trust me, it's fun :)

And now, for my A-MAZ-ING list of Korean dramas to watch & re-watch LOL: [I've decided it'll be my End of Year's resolution ;) Smart eh?]

1. Playful Kiss

2. Personal Taste

3.City Hunter

4. Boys over Flowers

5. You're Beautiful

6. Dream High

7. Scent of a Woman
...and any good dramas that are linked to: http://www.koreandrama.org/?page_id=439
(perhaps you can give me some insight)

That's all for now, hope you liked :P

Greetings...among other things

Ciào everyone,

I'm just going to be quick with the introductions here, because we all know that it's just a way of getting over that awkward first-blog-post phase.
So, hi there I'm Alyssa and my blog will be about nothing in particular. i.e. I'll probably talk about three basic aspects of my life: food, music and stories/books. Sound good?
This is not my first blog either, in fact I just recently deleted book blog "Love Found in Rome" so I apologise if you liked that blog a lot. I just needed a change. Follow me and if you have a blog as well, link me -it's only fair :)
Oh, and feel free to comment whenever and however you like -though preferably nothing impolite, thanks. This blog is all about speaking your mind openly:

And, if you're still wondering what the Title of my blog means, read all of the above. However, it's an Italian saying that literally means "To speak outside of one's teeth" i.e. to speak your mind. You'll also find that I like to start off each post with a greeting from another language. Just in case you start to wonder :P

That's it for now. Hope you like my blog :D

~Arrivederci~
